YUKO'S PERSIMMON PERFECTION. Bred and named in 2014 by Canadian breeder Jeff Casey in honor of his wife, giving the variety a warm, family-centered story. In open ground, the plants reach about 1.5 m in height, forming strong, well-leafed bushes with sturdy stems and a well-developed root system. The fruits are large, weighing 300-600 g, with a rich, bright-orange color and an attractive glossy sheen. The flesh is dense, meaty, and juicy at the same time, offering a beautifully balanced flavor where sweetness and a gentle tang complement each other.
Thanks to its firm texture, the tomato transports well and keeps its marketable appearance for a long time. This variety is highly productive and reliable throughout the season, thriving both in open ground and under film tunnels. Excellent for fresh salads, slices, juices, thick sauces, and roasting.
