BALTIC CHOCOLATE. Seeds from the collection of Natalia Ananieva. A tall, mid-season variety reaching about 1.8 m in height. Plants are vigorous, resilient, with good yield. The fruits are heart-shaped, elongated, of truly impressive coloration. The main palette is chocolate-emerald, with a dense expression of anthocyanin and the addition of red streaks. Under different lighting, one can see shimmers of green, blue, pink, golden, and chocolate hues. The color is complex, striped, noble — the variety looks like a work of art. Average fruit weight is 150-200 g, in some cases up to 250 g.
The skin is thin but strong, not prone to cracking. The tomatoes are neat, uniform, and very decorative. In cross-section, the flesh is emerald with a manifestation of a reddish "tie" in the center. The structure is dense, meaty, juicy, with a characteristic "breaking" texture. The taste is rich, very sweet, with a bright fruity aroma and a perfectly balanced combination of sweetness and light tartness. A variety that received top marks in all parameters: appearance, yield, taste, and texture. A true pearl of the collection for connoisseurs of complex coloration.
