DISTANT COSMOS. A remarkable original variety bred by Sofia Saakova, stabilized at the F6 generation in 2025. It is the second breeding line developed from a cross between Rescue of the Breeding and Rebel Starfighter Prime. The variety immediately attracts attention with its extraordinary cosmic coloration, outstanding productivity, and rich spicy-fruity flavor. It is one of the most spectacular anthocyanin tomatoes of modern original breeding. A mid-season indeterminate variety with a vigorous, elegant, well-foliated plant. In open-ground cultivation, plants reach about 1.9 m (6.2 ft) in height, producing strong stems and large fruit trusses. Each truss bears 6-7 fruits weighing 150-200 g.

The variety is distinguished by consistently high yields and a long fruiting season. The fruits are round, slightly flattened, uniform, and covered with smooth, dense skin that provides excellent crack resistance. They ripen completely without developing green shoulders or other defects. Every fruit displays its own unique combination of colors, resembling a miniature work of art. The coloration truly evokes distant galaxies: deep purple, ink-violet, chocolate, and emerald-green shades blend seamlessly into one another, creating a unique natural pattern. When sliced, the fruits reveal rich purple-red flesh with thick, meaty walls and small seed cavities.
