DWARF PEPPER STRIPED. An original mid-season dwarf tomato variety developed by the Gavrish breeding company, distinguished by its unusual pepper-shaped fruits, striking striped coloration, and exceptionally high productivity. This is a variety that immediately attracts attention with its exotic appearance and is equally well suited for fresh consumption and a wide range of homemade preserves. The plant is determinate, compact, and vigorous, with broad dark-green foliage. In open-ground cultivation, plants reach approximately 1.2 m (4 ft) in height.

Despite its relatively compact size, the plant requires training and staking because it sets an exceptionally heavy crop. The variety is characterized by strong vigor, abundant flowering, and reliable fruit production throughout the season. Each truss produces 5-7 fruits, while the plant forms numerous trusses, resulting in truly outstanding yields. Even under unfavorable weather conditions, fruit set remains excellent and productivity stays consistently high. The fruits are elongated, pepper-shaped, 10-15 cm (4-6 in) long, smooth, uniform, and exceptionally attractive.

The primary color is rich bright red, beautifully decorated with numerous golden stripes and swirls that resemble an artist's hand-painted design. Every tomato displays its own unique pattern, making the plant especially ornamental during peak ripening. The average fruit weight is 90-120 g. Inside, the fruits are almost completely solid, with thick fleshy walls and very few seeds. The flesh is firm, relatively low in juice, and retains its shape exceptionally well after slicing or cooking.

FLAVOR

The flavor is pleasant, harmonious, and classically tomato-like, with gentle natural sweetness balanced by moderate acidity. The firm texture makes the fruits extremely versatile. They are excellent for fresh salads, vegetable platters, and are considered among the finest varieties for drying, dehydrating, and whole-fruit canning. Thanks to their thick walls, the fruits do not become soft during processing, retain their shape beautifully, and remain pleasantly firm after cooking.
