ITALIAN BOOT (ITALYANSKIY SAPOG). A mid-early, high-yielding sweet pepper variety of Ukrainian origin, distinguished by its striking appearance and resistance to adverse conditions. Suitable for growing in open ground and greenhouses. The plants are vigorous, well-foliated, 60 to 120 cm tall, forming a bush on their own, but may require support when loaded with fruit. The fruits are large, weighing up to 400 g, uniform, glossy, and a rich dark cherry color.
The shape is truncated-conical, original and very attractive. The walls are thick — about 8 mm, the flesh is dense, fleshy, juicy, with a rich sweet taste and pleasant aroma. The fruits do not crack, store well, and retain their marketable appearance. The variety has a universal purpose: excellent for fresh consumption, grilling, drying, freezing, and processing, valued for its combination of beauty, flavor, and reliability in cultivation.
