SHEBOYGAN. A tall, indeterminate tomato variety (plant height up to 1.8 m), known for its high yield and consistent fruit production. The plant is vigorous, requiring staking and pruning. Fruits weigh on average 100-130 g, elongated in shape, dark pink in color, and very attractive in appearance. Both the skin and flesh are deeply pigmented. The flesh is juicy yet firm, does not crack or leak. The tomato is meaty, multi-chambered, with medium-thick walls and dense partitions.
It has a well-balanced flavor: sweet, without acidity, with a pronounced tomato aroma. A versatile variety, suitable for fresh consumption, particularly good in salads, and also excellent for sauces, juices, and canning. Thanks to the dense texture of the flesh, the fruits hold their shape well when sliced. The exact origin of this variety remains unknown. According to one version, it was developed in Germany; another suggests it may have Russian roots. The tomato has gained popularity among gardeners.
