FIRE COMET SOFIA. In 2024, this became the most astonishingly shaped variety bred by Sofia Saakova. Some variations in the variety are possible. The unique cosmic shape of the fruits is unlike any other tomato. Sofia developed this shape only in a few lines — and here is one of them before you! Nature never ceases to amaze with its imagination and perfection. A truly fantastic tomato. Unreal colors, glossy surface, smooth color transitions, as if lit from within by a little lantern, and that playful upturned nose — simply enchanting!
The taste is rich, bright, and fruity, with a complex sweet-and-sour aftertaste and juiciness. The flesh is dense, tender, and aromatic. Seeds are very few, large, but almost absent. The seed chambers mostly contain a sweet thick gel — this is why seed density is minimal. Deep raspberry color, blue anthocyanin patches, a long curved nose, and a honeyed flavor.
The bush grows up to 1.8 meters outdoors, medium strength, with thin leaves. Stems are strong, with small clusters. I have only 2-3 fruits per cluster, each weighing 180-190 grams. The yield is average, but we will definitely grow this variety again! Beautiful inside and out — the most striking and unique fruit of the season!
