RED BRAZILIAN STARFISH. This is a truly fiery novelty for lovers of hot peppers. The plant forms a sturdy, well-leafed bush that becomes literally covered with numerous miniature peppers during the fruiting season. Their heat level is approximately 5,000–10,000 Scoville Heat Units, providing a pleasant and noticeable spiciness without excessive heat.
The fruits are small, with an average weight of about 40 g, and have an unusual decorative shape reminiscent of tiny lanterns. They grow on elegant, arched stems, giving the plant a particularly attractive appearance. At the technical stage of maturity, the peppers are light green, while when fully ripe they turn a rich red color. The flavor is spicy, juicy, and aromatic.
Thanks to their striking appearance, the fruits can be used not only in cooking but also for decorating finished dishes. The small peppers are excellent for whole-fruit preserving, adding heat and a vibrant color to homemade preparations. The shape of the fruits may vary slightly depending on growing conditions.
The variety performs well not only in the garden but also in a pot on a balcony or indoors, making it suitable for growing even where space is limited. When grown near sweet pepper varieties, spatial isolation should be maintained to prevent unwanted cross-pollination.
