KINZHAL (DAGGER). A mid-early variety of hot pepper. Distinguished by stable yield, compact bush structure, and good adaptability to various growing conditions. Suitable both for home gardens and commercial production. The plant is tidy, 50-60 cm tall, forming a strong, well-leafed bush capable of holding a significant number of fruits. Due to its compact size, the variety is convenient to care for and does not require complex shaping. The fruits weigh 90-130 g, are 15-16 cm long, narrow-conical in shape with a slight curve and characteristic transverse waviness at the base.
Externally, they truly resemble a dagger – elongated, elegant, and striking. The wall thickness is 4-5 mm, making the fruits quite fleshy and versatile in use. At technical maturity, the fruits are green; upon full ripening, they acquire a rich red glossy color and an attractive marketable appearance. The taste is medium-hot, balanced, without excessive pungency, allowing the pepper to be used both fresh and for processing. The variety is well-suited for making sauces, pickling, baking, stuffing, and processing.
